Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at in4blue.com (the "Site") and any related communications, services, or activities operated by the Indiana 4th Congressional District Democratic Party, doing business as IN4Blue ("IN4Blue," "we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Site, submitting a donation, signing up to volunteer, opting in to communications, or otherwise interacting with IN4Blue, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this Site or engage with IN4Blue services.

These Terms are to be read together with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference.

About IN4Blue

IN4Blue is the Indiana 4th Congressional District Democratic Party, a political party organization operating under the rules of the Indiana Democratic Party and applicable federal and state law. IN4Blue exists to support Democratic candidates and causes across Indiana's 4th Congressional District, which includes Putnam County, Parke County, Fountain County, Warren County, Vermillion County, and surrounding communities.

IN4Blue operates in compliance with the Federal Election Campaign Act (52 U.S.C. § 30101 et seq.), regulations of the Federal Election Commission (FEC), and the election and campaign finance laws of the State of Indiana as administered by the Indiana Election Division.

Nothing on this Site constitutes legal, financial, or tax advice. The political activities, statements, and positions expressed on this Site represent those of IN4Blue and do not constitute the official views of any individual candidate, government body, or other organization unless explicitly stated.

Permitted Use of This Website

You may use this Site for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes related to learning about IN4Blue, making a contribution, signing up to volunteer, or otherwise engaging with Democratic Party political activities in Indiana's 4th Congressional District.

Specifically, you are permitted to:

• Browse and read content published on the Site
• Make lawful contributions using the provided donation tools
• Sign up for email or SMS communications with your consent
• Register for IN4Blue events and activities
• Submit volunteer interest forms
• Share links to Site content on social media platforms
• Download publicly available materials such as voter guides or event flyers, where provided

Use of this Site for any purpose other than those described above requires the prior written permission of IN4Blue.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree that you will NOT use this Site or any IN4Blue services to:

• Violate any applicable federal, state, or local law or regulation, including campaign finance and election laws
• Make a contribution on behalf of another person, corporation, foreign national, federal contractor, or other prohibited source under federal or Indiana law
• Use another person's identity, payment information, or contact details without their authorization
• Impersonate IN4Blue, its officers, candidates it supports, or any other person
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically collect data from the Site without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Site or its underlying systems
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other malicious code
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Site
• Post, transmit, or distribute unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or harmful content
• Use the Site to spread disinformation about Democratic candidates, IN4Blue, or election processes
• Use automated tools to submit forms, make donations, or otherwise interact with the Site
• Use the Site or IN4Blue's name and brand in a way that implies endorsement of any third-party product, service, or political position without written consent

IN4Blue reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Site for any user who violates these prohibitions and to report violations to appropriate authorities, including the FEC or Indiana Election Division where applicable.

Contributions & Donations

Eligibility

By making a contribution to IN4Blue, you represent and warrant that:

• You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident alien
• You are making this contribution with your own personal funds, not funds provided by another person for the purpose of making this contribution
• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are not a federal contractor, foreign national, or other contributor prohibited under federal or Indiana law
• This contribution is not made from the treasury of a corporation, labor organization, national bank, or other prohibited entity

Contribution Limits

Federal law and Indiana law impose limits on the amount individuals and entities may contribute to political party committees. It is your responsibility to ensure your contribution does not exceed applicable limits. IN4Blue will refund contributions that exceed legal limits or are received from prohibited sources.

Refund Policy

Contributions to IN4Blue are generally non-refundable except as required by law — for example, contributions that exceed legal limits or are from prohibited sources. If you believe a contribution was made in error, please contact us promptly at [email protected]. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis at IN4Blue's discretion.

Non-Deductibility

Public Disclosure

Federal law requires IN4Blue to publicly disclose the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer of contributors whose contributions aggregate over $200 in a calendar year. This information is filed with the FEC and becomes part of the public record accessible at fec.gov. Indiana state law may impose additional disclosure requirements. See our Privacy Policy, Section 4, for full details.

Recurring Contributions

If you authorize a recurring contribution, you authorize IN4Blue (through its payment processor) to charge your payment method on the schedule you select. You may cancel a recurring contribution at any time by contacting us at [email protected] or through the payment processor's platform. Cancellations must be received before the next scheduled processing date to prevent that charge.

Volunteer Participation

By signing up to volunteer with IN4Blue, you agree that:

• You are volunteering your time freely and without compensation, in accordance with the Federal Election Campaign Act's volunteer exemption
• Your volunteer activities on behalf of IN4Blue are subject to the direction and oversight of IN4Blue leadership and designated staff
• You will not represent yourself as an official spokesperson for IN4Blue or any candidate IN4Blue supports unless explicitly authorized to do so in writing
• You will comply with all applicable laws while volunteering, including voter contact laws, canvassing ordinances, and any applicable permitting requirements within Indiana's 4th Congressional District
• You will treat all voters, community members, and fellow volunteers with respect and will not engage in conduct that could harm, embarrass, or create legal liability for IN4Blue or any supported candidate
• You will accurately represent IN4Blue's positions and will not make unauthorized commitments or statements on IN4Blue's behalf

IN4Blue reserves the right to decline or end the volunteer relationship with any individual at any time for any reason. Volunteer activities are performed at your own risk, and IN4Blue is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses sustained while volunteering, except as required by applicable Indiana law.

Communications & Opt-In Consent

Email Communications

By providing your email address and subscribing to IN4Blue communications, you consent to receive email messages including organization updates, event invitations, fundraising appeals, candidate information, and political messaging. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any IN4Blue email or by contacting us at [email protected].

SMS / Text Message Communications

By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from IN4Blue. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at [email protected].

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of making a contribution or volunteering with IN4Blue. IN4Blue complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and applicable Indiana law.

Phone Outreach

If you have provided your phone number to IN4Blue, you may be contacted by IN4Blue staff, volunteers, or automated systems for organizational and political purposes. You may request placement on our internal do-not-call list at any time by contacting [email protected].

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, video, audio, campaign materials, and the overall design and layout — is owned by or licensed to IN4Blue and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may share links to Site content and reproduce limited excerpts for personal, non-commercial, or news reporting purposes, provided you clearly attribute the content to IN4Blue and do not alter the content in a misleading way.

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or publicly display IN4Blue content for commercial purposes without written permission
• Modify or create derivative works from IN4Blue content in a way that misrepresents IN4Blue's positions or those of any candidate IN4Blue supports
• Use IN4Blue's name, logos, or branding in a way that implies endorsement of any third-party product, service, or political position without written consent
• Use IN4Blue content in paid political advertising or communications without written authorization

User-Submitted Content

If you submit content to IN4Blue through forms, surveys, social media interactions, or other channels (such as testimonials, photographs, or written statements), you grant IN4Blue a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and distribute that content in any medium and for any lawful organizational or political purpose.

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

• You own or have the right to grant the above license for the submitted content
• The content does not violate any third party's rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
• The content is accurate and not misleading
• The content does not contain material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable

IN4Blue is not obligated to use, publish, or retain any user-submitted content and may remove or decline any submission at its sole discretion.

Third-Party Links & Services

This Site may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services — including payment processors, social media platforms, event platforms, and candidate websites — that are not owned or controlled by IN4Blue.

IN4Blue has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy and terms of service of every third-party site you visit. Links to third-party sites do not constitute an endorsement by IN4Blue of those sites or their content.

Links to individual candidate websites do not imply that IN4Blue has formally endorsed those candidates unless an explicit endorsement statement is provided on this Site.

Disclaimer of Warranties

IN4Blue does not warrant that:

• The Site will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free at all times
• Defects or errors will be corrected
• The Site or its servers are free of viruses or other harmful components
• The information on the Site is complete, accurate, or up to date

You use this Site at your own risk. Political information, candidate positions, and event details may change; always verify time-sensitive information through direct contact with IN4Blue.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall IN4Blue's total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Site exceed the total amount of contributions you have made to IN4Blue in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IN4Blue and its officers, committee members, employees, agents, and volunteers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of this Site or any IN4Blue services
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any applicable law or regulation, including federal and Indiana campaign finance and election laws
• Content you submit to IN4Blue
• Any false or misleading representation you make in connection with a contribution or volunteer activity

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to your use of this Site shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and applicable federal law.

Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the federal or state courts located in Indiana, and you hereby consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Nothing in this section limits IN4Blue's right to seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction where necessary to protect its intellectual property, election-related rights, or other organizational interests.

Changes to These Terms

IN4Blue reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also provide notice by email or a prominent notice on the Site.

Your continued use of in4blue.com or engagement with IN4Blue services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically, particularly around election cycles when our activities and data practices may expand.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should discontinue use of the Site and contact us to unsubscribe from communications.
